Reception is your child’s final year in the Foundation Stage.

In our Reception classes we believe it is our role to provide an environment and a curriculum which inspires children to achieve. We strive to instill a love of learning in all of the children whilst developing independence and a “can do” attitude. The personal and social development is a major focus within a caring and nurturing environment.

We work very hard to ensure our children develop a real love of learning and excel in all areas of their development.

The topics that children cover during their Reception year are:

Marvellous Me!

Twinkle, flicker & bang!

Explorers unite!

Old MacDonald

Turrets & Tiaras
