Online Safety

At Nevill Road Infants, we use the National Centre for Computing Education (NCCE) materials to deliver Computing lessons in Key Stage One. Within this scheme we cover online safety but we also use other resources, across the school, such as the 'Think U Know' - Jessie and Friends, Child Net's Smartie the Penguin and Digi Duck resources to embed important skills and ways to keep children safe when using technology.

Stockport Metropolitan Borough Council have also launched their Online Safety Hub which contains lots of advice and information about keeping children safe online. Please have a look to see how it can support you and your family https://stockport.onlinesafetyhub.uk/

Common Sense Media rates movies, TV shows, podcasts, books, and more so families can feel good about the entertainment choices they make for their kids. We offer the largest, most trusted library of independent age-based ratings and reviews.
